Merula eco – The Merula Cup, even more ecological
Sustainability is of great importance to us and, thanks to your feedback, we want to leave an even greener footprint with the Merula Cup eco: The menstrual cup remains the same, made from certified medical-grade silicone and free of plasticizers. But what’s new?
The packaging: Has an exemplary model sustainability balance. It’s completely free from plastic materials, the carton (94 % recycled ingredients, 6 % grass ingredients) is FSC certified and even the label is made of grass paper. Thus, it’s not only recyclable but also compostable.
The instruction manual: We have forgone using additional paper, which is why you can find the instruction manual printed on the inside of the box.
The pouch: The pretty blue “Merula eco” flower decorates the pouch, which is made from organic cotton under fair working conditions in India and GOTS-certified.
Made in Germany: The Merula Cup itself as well as the entire packaging material are made in Germany.
Merula Cup strawberry: The Merula Cup strawberry comes in a vibrant pink and is made out of 100% medical-grade silicone and produced in Germany. It is round, with a rigid edge and a thin, soft body. The menstrual cup can be worn in a folded up state – only the edge needs to be open. The slight vacuum means the cup can be worn whatever the condition of the pelvic floor muscles. It has an adaptable, three-rung stem that can be shortened to ensure an individual, optimally comfortable length.
